Terms and conditions
I am aware that in order to process my application (either for the summer school or for the PhD program), and to keep track of my PhD as a doctoral researcher of IMPRS CoNI, personal data will be stored:
· Applicants IMPRS CoNI summer school
For the participation in the IMPRS CoNI summer school, these are all the data I enter in the registration form as well as the document(s) I upload to the respective registration website. I agree that it is necessary to share the data described above with other persons involved in the organization of the IMPRS CoNI summer school (IMPRS Coordination, IMPRS CoNI Faculty, Workshop leaders, MPI CBS administration).If you registered a poster, your last name, initials and the title and abstract of your poster, will be published on the IMPRS CoNI website to allow a smooth organization of the poster session. Data will be stored on servers of the OpenCampus GmbH, Werner-Eckert-Str. 4, 81829 Munich, and once I am accepted also on the IMPRS Coordination office’s workspace and will be deleted after six years (i.e. after the evaluation of IMPRS CoNI).
· Applicants for the PhD programme at IMPRS CoNI
For the application to the PhD programme at the IMPRS CoNI, these are all the data I enter in the registration form as well as the document(s) I upload to the respective registration website. I agree that it is necessary to share the data described above with other persons involved in the recruitment of doctoral candidates at the IMPRS CoNI (IMPRS CoNI Coordination Office, IMPRS CoNI Faculty, Equal Opportunity Officers, and additional employers of MPI CBS involved in the recruitment of new PhD candidates for IMPRS CoNI). Data will be stored on servers of the OpenCampus GmbH, Werner-Eckert-Str. 4, 81829 Munich, and once I am accepted also on the IMPRS Coordination office’s workspace.The data you enter will not be published and are used for internal purposes and for the evaluation report of the graduate school. In case you apply for the IMPRS CoNI PhD program, and you are not accepted, your data will be deleted after the evaluation of IMPRS CoNI.
If you are accepted to our graduate school, data entered in the context of your application will be deleted six years after you received your PhD. There is the right at all times to delete, correct or limit the processing of personal data. However, in this case, your application to the IMPRS NeuroCom can no longer be considered in context of the application process. · Doctoral Researchers of the IMPRS on Cognitive NeuroImaging
In case of a successful application, we transfer your data into our management system of your PhD “IMPRS CoNI PhD trajectory”. Also, further personal information regarding your PhD progress and related to its administration will be stored on OpenCampus.
Data will be stored on servers of the OpenCampus GmbH, Werner-Eckert-Str. 4, 81829 Munich, and will be deleted six years after you defended your PhD (i.e. after the evaluation of IMPRS CoNI).
· Faculty of the IMPRS CoNI and external members of TACs
Data we store at OpenCampus are your Title, First Name, Last Name and your Email address. This is necessary to allow you to participate in the recruitment of IMPRS doctoral researchers and to organize the TAC meetings of our doctoral researchers. Data will be stored on servers of the OpenCampus GmbH, Werner-Eckert-Str. 4, 81829 Munich for the duration of your membership as IMPRS CoNI faculty member and as a member of a TAC of an IMPRS CoNI doctoral researcher.
General Data Protection Information
On the application site of the IMPRS CoNI and on the summer school application site of the IMPRS CoNI, all fields marked with * are mandatory. The gathered personal information at these sites will be used to efficiently support the application and recruitment process. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6, para. 1, letter b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and § 26, paragraph 1 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
All fields which are not marked are optional. You can provide this information on a voluntary basis. The legal basis is your consent based on Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a of the GDPR. Consent is also the basis for the additional purpose of the processing of your data for statistical purposes by IMPRS CoNI those academic partners, who are involved in the selection and evaluation process.
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please, send an email to imprs-coni@cbs.mpg.de.
General Information about your nationality, current place of residence, age, gender, the university at which you completed your degrees and how you got to know the IMPRS CoNI or will furthermore be processed for statistical reasons / evaluation purposes. These purposes also include our legitimate interest in data processing pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO which is the legal basis therefore.
Processing of your personal details is carried out by way of order processing on the OpenCampus GmbH. The IMPRS CoNI as the responsible body only has access to your data insofar as this is necessary for the application and recruitment process in line with the internal allocation of responsibilities. Your data will be reviewed by the IMPRS CoNI and those academic institutions in Germany and the UK, who are involved in the selection and evaluation process of candidates for IMRPS CoNI or applicants for the IMRPS CoNI Summer School.
In case of a successful application, we transfer your data into our management system. In the event of rejection, your data will be deleted at the end of the application procedure.
The above mentioned Information processed for statistical reasons /evaluation purposes will be stored for a period of 6 years. These purposes also include our legitimate interest in data processing pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO which is the legal basis therefore. In principle, you have the right to information in relation to the data concerning you, the right to have the data corrected should it be incorrect and the right to request deletion of the data if it is being stored unlawfully, as well as the right to have the processing restricted, the right of data portability and the right to object to processing. You can withdraw consent which you have issued at any time. You also have the right to submit an objection to a supervisory authority, for example to the authority competent for the MPG.
